WHAT TO EXPECT
The clash we’ve been waiting for, Mamelodi Sundowns vs Marumo Gallants will take place on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. Kick-off is at 19:30 SAST. The match will be shown live on SuperSport.
This is Sundowns’ first home league game of the season. It’s a catch-up fixture — the original season opener was postponed after the death of Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams disrupted the club’s pre-season plans. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) approved the new date.
